TRIBECA HIGH-RISE, NEW YORK

To create valuable icons needs courage: the courage to go out of the beaten path.
A design concept for a new condominium building comprised of small scale, highly functional residences.
The target market will be domestic and international professionals, empty nesters, people in transition, and the Pied-à-terre user or investor.
The design was modern, yet timeless, in the attempt to insert the new building within the existing texture of Tribeca.
The entry sequence begins on North Moore Street, where residents will retreat into the beautiful serenity of their lushly landscaped courtyard, inclusive of a vertical green wall adjoining the existing buildings.
The facade of the building incorporates sun-screen sliders the t create a pattern of movement to the lower portion of the building.
A new subway entrance is enclosed in a glass structure where the metal frame is designed with a pattern to mimic the map of TriBeCa.
