ART WAREHOUSE, NEW YORK

Located in the up and coming neighborhood of Red Hook Brooklyn, 202 Coffey project consisted in a large-scale adaptive re-use of an existing Brooklyn Industrial Warehouse into a Global Hub for Art, Creativity, Fashion, Design and Events.
The existing warehouse space will be transformed into art galleries, office and events space that will reflect the existing industrial character of the building.
This property consists of a series of buildings that were built since the 1880’s.
The original use was a production warehouse for Lidgerwood Mfg, which was one of the premiere ship building parts com- panies during the early 1900’s. The existing structure of the building includes wooden trusses, exposed brick walls, high ceilings, large volumes, over-sized brick window openings and two courtyards.
